Tungsten carbide valve ball could perform better than steel valve ball, mainly depends on it's performance:

1. Good physical properties. High hardness, strong liquid surface impact resistance, high temperature resistance, erosion resistance, high wear resistance (its wear resistance is 15-20 times higher than the best high-speed steel).
2. Stable chemical properties. Anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion of various media (acid, alkali, salt, various gases, etc.).
3. High density. The specific gravity of tungsten carbide can be as high as 14 or even higher, which is more than 70% higher than that of steel, which will significantly increase the falling speed of the valve ball and improve its performance, which is conducive to the normal operation of the valve ball.
4. The service life of tungsten carbide valve ball is higher than that of ordinary steel valve ball, and it is widely used in petroleum, chemical and electric power industries.
