What is TSS tungsten super shot ?
Tungsten super shot (TSS) can be small in volume while very massive because of its high density. Tungsten super shot usually consist of W-Ni- Fe or W-Ni- Cu or W-Ni-Cu-Fe, some tungsten alloys are created with addition of: Co、Mo、Cr, etc. When tiny, yet heavy parts are needed, such as counterweights in golf clubs, fishing weights, penetrating projectiles, armor piercing ammunition or non-toxic hunting pellets.
TSS tungsten super shot main Properties
Excellent Hardness: 86~93 HRA, which equal to 68~81HRC;
Excellent Hot Working Performance: Hardness could be remained at 60 HRC under 900~1000 ℃;
Resistance Wear: Some grades can outwear hardened steel by over 100 times
Resistance Corrosion: Grades with Nickel and Chromium binders are very resistant to acidic solutions
Impact Resistance: Tungsten cemented carbides are surprisingly tough considering their high hardness.
